Mr Benevenga's eighth graders were assigned a famous inventor from the Industrial Age. Students did a fantastic job creating an informative slideshow in which they became the inventor! Inventors included Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, Jan Matzeliger, & the Wright Brothers. Here is a student dressed up as Orville Wright & a model of the first airplane!

🌿🌍 Taking Earth Day Outside! Today, our 4th graders explored the importance of green space and how plants help us breathe. Each student measured out one square meter—the space needed to produce enough oxygen for one person per day. Together, they calculated that 175 square meters are needed to support all of the 4th grade for a week!⁠ ⁠ We wrapped up with a great conversation on how we can conserve green space and do our part for the planet.
