Pioneer's Turpal Khamzayev will be competing in a Kick-boxing event fight on Sunday, April 9th.Turpal has been competing in MMA for over a year and has been a martial artist all his life. It was wonderful to see over 25 families and teachers connect outside the classroom, first with some friendly kicks on the turf field, and then over a fun-filled barbecue. Detective Kaba from the Passaic County's Sheriff's Department visited Pioneer Academy this week and spoke to students about the importance of their profound effect they will have on everyone through leadership and leading by example. He also addressed safety and the impact of social media on our youth.
