Little Van Gogh's of Lower School working on their first masterpiece

In this week's club spotlight, you can see our Little Van Gogh's of Lower School working on their first masterpiece, The Starry Night! The Creative Studio Club provides students in Grades 2 to 4 a fun studio based experience on creating art. Mrs. Hernandez demonstrates how to create the Van Gogh Starry Night landscape to the students. The students recreate the Starry Night in their artistic vision by using the Watercolor Resist method (liquid watercolor and oil pastels). They learn how to blend with oil pastels and understand the difference of background, middle ground and foreground on a painting.
