As part of our mission, administrations, staff, faculty, community leaders and parents work together to instill a life-long love of learning, a strong sense of moral responsibility, and an acceptance for diversity. For the past five years, the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has worked diligently on projects that have led to the implementation of security cameras throughout the school, an electronic buzzing system for the front door, and a state of the art phone system which can be used for internal paging and as intercom. All of this was possible thanks to the PTO's annual Auction. They work with local businesses who donate merchandise or services to be auctioned, and in return we advertise their businesses in the school's yearbook and graduation ceremony.
Additionally, our parents constantly constantly chaperon for our domestic and international field trips. They are also assistant coaches during Science Olympiads, Math Counts, Turkish Olympiad, Future City Competition, Robotics Competition and Soccer Tournaments. Pioneer Academy of Science recognizes parental involvement as one of the key factors for successful competitions.
