Senior Mathematics Teacher (Clifton, NJ)
Teach mathematic courses from basic to AP mathematics. Develop mathematics curriculum. Prepare course objectives, outlines, syllabus for math courses. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress. Assign and grade classwork and homework. Plan and coordinate preparation for Mathematics Olympiads/competitions, school math fairs, training programs, and workshops to support school projects. Lead the Mathematics Department and guide junior math teachers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or Mathematics Education. 5 years experience in the job offered or as a Mathematics Teacher is required. Exp. must include preparing students for Math Olympiads/competitions, school math fairs in a charter or a private school environment. 40 hrs/wk.
