Pioneer Academy of Science is a very unique school. We are one big family of staff, administrators, students, parents and community leaders working hard towards one common goal, delivering a rigorous curriculum, while helping students gain the skills needed to be successful in a diverse and challenging world.
In honor to that hard work, ALL students will participate in an essay writing contest in which they describe why they love Pioneer. The essays that best describes the school will win a Barnes & Noble gift certificate: $60 for 1st place, $30 for 2nd place and $20 for third place. Essays are due by October 21st and they are to be submitted to English teachers, Mr. Leporino, Mr. Avecedo and Mrs. Griffin. Three middle and three high school winners will be chosen and recognized during the 1st quarter's Honor Roll Ceremony.
