PAS students are talented, motivated and competitive. The school enrolls students from all areas of Northern New Jersey.
We welcome and appreciate the parents and students who are interested to contact our Admissions Office at: (973) 405-5169 to set an interview with our Admissions staff.

 

We appreciate your interest in Pioneer Academy of Science, and we are anticipating a full review of your candidacy. Admission procedures of Pioneer Academy of Science are as follows:

1. Complete the pre-application form (Apply Online) and return it with a non-refundable $ 75.00 application fee.

2. Pioneer Academy of Science will evaluate the candidate’s records and interview him/her and his/her parents to make a decision.

3. A tuition deposit + (which will be credited towards your annual tuition upon acceptance) and the one-time consumable material fee (see rates below).

The 2008-2009 Annual Tuition Rates

 
  • Grades Pre-K - 3      $6,500.00 (Non-refundable Deposit $650)
  • Grades 4 - 8              $7,500.00 (Non-refundable Deposit $750)
  • Grades 9 - 12            $8,500.00 (Non-refundable Deposit $850)

The 2008-2009 One-time Consumable Material Fee*                                         Due by August 25, 2008 (*Non-refundable)

 
  • Grades Pre-K - 3      $150 per student
  • Grades 4 - 8              $200 per student
  • Grades 9 - 12            $250 per student

 

4. Upon completion of the applicant’s file and an interview with the Principal, the application will be reviewed.

Admissions Application Checklist

In order to evaluate an applicant, Pioneer Academy of Science must have:

Application fee ($ 75.00 non-refundable)

A report of performance from previous school.

(Student’s previous year and current year report cards.)

A record of any standardized tests taken by the applicant.

Recommendation Letters from Teachers, Guidance Counselor or Principal

The score of the entrance exam (Grades 3-12 only), which will be taken at PAS.

(Please call the office 973-405-5169 to schedule an appointment. Admission test is free.)

An on-campus interview with the applicant and his/her parents.

A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and current health records of the applicant.

School Records Transfer form

(to be signed by the parent and mailed to the student’s current school)
